Logable's water pump device type tracks flow rate, pressure, power consumption, temperature, and calculated efficiency. These metrics give you a comprehensive view of pump health and performance. You can set alerts on any metric to detect issues early.
While Logable does not have a dedicated leak detection algorithm, you can use rate-of-change alerts on flow meter data to detect sudden drops in flow or unexpected flow patterns that may indicate a leak. You can also set threshold alerts on both flow and pressure metrics to catch abnormal readings early.
Flow meters can be connected via IoT gateways that read values from the meter, or directly via MQTT or a simple web request if the meter has internet connectivity. The gateway approach is most common for traditional field instruments.
